Lloyd Jones is an owner/operator. We manage our own acquisitions – starting at the property level – and maintain our own management teams on site. We manage “like owners” because we are the owners, giving us a unique advantage over owners who outsource their operations. We are convinced that aligned management is the key to a successful investment.
Because our management teams are involved in every step of the investment process, beginning with property identification and due diligence, they are ready to take over operations immediately upon acquisition. This leads to a seamless transition at closing.
Working with the investment and management teams, our asset management group monitors the strategic plans for each property to ensure business goals are being met. The asset management teams look at tax issues, market trends, and the macro economics of each market and each investment. In addition, they review, on a very micro level, the monthly financial statements and monitor capital improvements. Finally, they help determine the right time for asset disposition.
